A: Use the included backing fabric when a tear or hole needs additional support behind the damaged surface. Trim it slightly larger than the opening, position it underneath and follow the included instructions before applying the repair compound.
Q4: Is the kit suitable for large peeling areas?

A: The kit works best for localized repairs. Large areas of peeling, flaking or missing material may require more compound, additional preparation and several thin applications. Severely deteriorated surfaces may not be suitable for a DIY repair.
